Mini T-World: Essential Android Apps

If you have an Android phone in Korea, you probably have a Galaxy S, which means you probably means you are with SK Telecom. If that is the case, then you need to have the Mini T-World application, which is available on the T-Store on your phone as 미니 T world. It is also on the Android Market (of course).

The first useful thing about Mini T-World is the live tracking of your SMS, Call, and Data Usage, along with a gauge of days remaining in the billing period.

The second most useful (and easy on the wallet) feature, is the free SMS service. This includes an extra 100 free text messages per month. You can attach one picture per message, so you can save a lot, as pictures in your regular text messages eat up your limit quickly.

The third option from the left on the bottom menu is the graph of monthly usage, so you can track if you’ve been going over your limit a lot. If this is the case, it may be time to upgrade to a new plan (like I did).

Finally, here’s a view of two of the Widget options, Mini T-World provides. There are plenty of size options, but these are the most detailed. They can be a convenient reminder of how much time you have left (or in my case, don’t have).
